True North in Trouble Part 2

What the hell did I tell you! That is exactly what I was afraid of! Jesus I hope I'm/we're wrong about this. But right now Canada is just one step away from anarchy. We have no government. Alex Jones was talking about it this Friday and he and his guest said that if Canadians weren't protesting the Queen/Governor-General's decision to stop parliament, we'd be in trouble. Being in Canada and seeing the news, the media is portraying this opposition coalition as a separatist/illegal/coupe. And Canadians are eating it up! Rather than protesting blocking parliament, Canadians are protesting the coalition! It's ridiculous!

Stinger503's Report of Toolbaggery 8/8/8

This one makes me crazy.
Heres how the headline should go:

Cops slay drug dealing dogs

http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/local/bal-mayor0807,0,4563211.story

Un-Fucking-Believeable

They kill their fucking dogs, and by no means am I a dog person. But god damn! What the hell were they thinking? Christ they might as well have left the package on the damned street and wait for someone to pick it up. And why the hell would they shoot the fucking dogs? What did they say to themselves? "Oh there's the culprits!"

Where the fuck is PETA when you need them???
Oh right their pissing me off in Canada too. (But then again PETA pisses me off all the time)

Oh I think I know where they get their policies: Letters from Iwo Jima you know where they kill the dog with the family right there. And that's Imperial Fucking Japan not modern day America.

And they didn't apologize!! WHAT THE HELL!?
Mark Spencer (P.G. County Police Department's Inspector General) is the biggest tool of all. He says that since the drug dealers use the innocents to screen their activities, IT'S ALRIGHT TO INVADE THEIR (THE INNONCENTS) FUCKING HOUSES AND SHOOT THEIR FUCKING PETS!
UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!

Movie Reviews x3 #2

The Dark Knight

I only had one problem with the Dark Knight and that was that it was almost too dark. Like...jesus it's really the darkest movie I've ever seen. Every horror movie I've ever seen doesn't hold a candle to it (except maybe Saw III (I've never seen Saw I or II and don' t want to)) Damn the movie is dark. At least Batman Begins has some light comedy spread throughout. Another difference is the action, Begins has alot more I'd say. Batman fights probably less then 10 times and it's usually pretty short too.

However the movie is very good. The acting and atmosphere is well done. Heath Ledger is indeed as great as everyone says he is but that isn't to say Bale wasn't good. (I actually think Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent was the star of the show by far).

Acting: 10/10

Story: 10/10

Atmosphere: 10/10

Overall: 10/10

Rated 14-A(ONT) PG-13 (USA) Almost too dark but still astounding.

Ratatouille

Ratatouille is a fantastic movie that I regret I didn't see earlier. The plot revolves around a rat that wishes to become a chef. He befriends a janitor/inspiring chef who's related to the famous chef of the restuarant he's working at. Together they start cooking food and impress the higher ups. I thought that the voice acting was flawless and the animations were extremley well done. The characters were robust and colourful as well.

Acting: 10/10

Story: 9.5/10

Atmosphere: 9.5/10

Overall: 9.5/10

Rated G (ONT) G (USA) Great heart warming movie all the way around.

28 Weeks Later

All I can say after watching this movie:
FUCKING KIDS!

Ah... had to get that off my chest. Overall I don't think 28W was as stylized as 28D. The acting was okay but it fell short of 28D. It also felt much shorter than 28D and I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad thing. Overall there wasn't as much idea as the first movie in my opinion

Acting: 7.5/10

Story: 6/10

Atmosphere: 8/10

Overall: 7.5/10

Rated 18-A (ONT) R (USA) Great first half but fumbles with the ending a bit.

Stinger503's QuickList: Weapons (P1/3)

I'm going to be doing a 3 part series on weapons that are awesome. First is real life weapon categories, 2nd is an individual weapon in those categories and third is most awesome video game guns.

Best Weapons- And none of that Hand to Hand getting #1 bullshit that I've seen on the Military Channel, apparently they haven't seen Indiana Jones or The Last Samurai

10. Light Machine Gun

These mothers are half beast, half machine. Surprisingly the best examples of these are from World War II. Which was likely because you actually could have to shoot 20-30 guys at once while on the move, something you wouldn't need in Bagdad today. So while they do fire alot of bullets, their pretty cumbersome compared to ARs and SMGs, which is why it's tenth.

9. Assualt Rifles

These have been big ever since WWII. Any modern army needs a good assualt rifle. They've taken centerstage in almost all the wars since the 2nd World War including Vietnam, Iraq, Korea and Afghanistan. While they are useful, their track record isn't that good. Aside from a gun I'll mention in pt 2, guns like the M16 is notorious for jamming in combat. I feel bad for putting ARs so high on the list, espicially with modern weapons like the FAMAS, M4 and having fu**ing grenade launchers on them.

8. Pistol

Pistols are the classic weapon. From the 1812 musket balls to the Wild West stand offs, German Lugers, PP7s, Desert Eagles, Police, armies, rebels, criminals. Pistols have been everywhere. That is all.

7. Bolt-Action Rifle

I love WWII rifles. It was a time before ARs had taken over and it didn't matter if your gun was shitty because you were a badass. Just look at this illustrious list of names:

  • Springfield

  • Mauser

  • Lee-Enfield

  • Mosin-Nagant

  • and a favourite I'm listing in pt 2
6. Sub-Machine Gun

What I love about SMGs I their dependability, compactness, and silence. Used by most special forces, the SMGs is the opposite of AR. Which I love.

5. Mounted Gun/ Heavy Machine Gun

What is better than unleashing a seemingly unending torrent of bullets at a foe? Look below.

4. Flame Thrower

Can also be used for snow on your driveway Seriously

3. Shotgun

Future of Shotguns

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!

2. RPGs

Rocket Launcher, Panzerfaust, Panzershreck, Bazooka, Rocket Propelled Grenade. Take your pick.

1. Sniper Rifles

I love snipers. Think about the legacy of badassedness. Russian Snipers, British, American, Canadian, and German sharpshooters are all badass. Enemy At The Gates is a good example. There's also Sniper Wolf, Saving Private Ryan, etc. I love snipers.

My E3 Thoughts...

E3 is/was the Christmas of my gaming religion. The Electronic Entertainment Expo is my Mecca. Unfortunately, this year I was on vacation the same week as the show. But now that I've gotten a chance to take it all in, here are my thoughts on Microsoft presentation and miscellaneous E3 items:

Microsofts Presentation

  • Fallout 3 looks bloody amazing! (And I'm not kidding about the blood)

  • Resident Evil 5 comes out March 13! Can you say birthday present for me?!

  • Fable 2 is going to be a must by for me this year. It looks incredible!

  • All I can say about the Gears of War 2 trailer they showed: Damn!

  • All I can say about the Gears of War 2 demo they showed: GOD DAMN!

  • How the hell am I going to afford Fable 2, Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3?

  • Live Party (you and friends able to talk and go into different game instantly) sounds sweet.

  • Primetime, which is basically a game show channel where you compete and possibly win prizes, looks amazing! Especially 1 vs. 100. My only concern is that Canada is gonna get screwed over again.

  • The dashboard update looks great, I'm also excited about the harddrive installation idea.

  • I'm uncertain about Avatars, they look better than Miis but still a little too cartoony for many people.

  • Microsoft's Lips looks fun, if it works for Rock Band 2, I may get it for Christmas! I love that you can play iPod songs on it!

  • 500 songs for Rock Band 2 is amazing! But not as amazing as AC/DC!

  • I'm not a fan of RPG's (Role Playing Games, not Rocket Propelled Grenades) by any means, but you'd have to be an idoit to not know that Square Enix and Final Fantasy are huge for the Xbox 360.

Mischellanious

  • The boys at Ensemble have done a great job with Halo Wars, it looks great, fun to control, and I'm glad it comes out next year (I can't afford more games!)

  • I Am Alive (surivial game) should be good if it's done right, which Ubisoft should be able to do.

  • Red Alert 3! Do I need to say more?

  • Fine then, the units look awesome, the buildings look awesome, Christ the landscape looks awesome! Take a look a the water in RA2-

Compared to RA3-

Need I say more?

Ghostbuster looks okay too.

Finally I have sad post E3 news, Splinter Cell has been delayed until 2009-2010!

Sorry

I apologize for my lazyness. It took me a week to get around to posting part 2 of my vacation. Not only that I still need to post my thoughts on E3, as well as review Stop-Loss, which I saw last night. And I have to review GTAIV and I have to review Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 and TMNT and Medal of Honor Airborne and Ghost Recon and Guitar Hero III & II and NHL 2k8 and Fight Night Rnd 3 and Ticket To Ride and play Saints Row, FEAR, Test Drive Unlimited, Star Trek Legacy, PGR4, Madden 07 and the Outfit! All while getting a job, my G, s#it for college and doing other crap! Aye aye aye!

The hard part is remembering to do this, you see, I could post all of this right now, but I have to post it in digestable chunks or else how could anyone read about my vacation, it would be at the bottom of list three pages back.

Now, the problem with doing it episodically is that I'm a forgetful ass. How do you think I got through the whole week without posting my vacation pt 2?

P.S. I also have to review Lewis Black's book.

Vacation Part 2

On Wednesday we went to a Camelbeach Water Park.

I went on most of the slides. Since it doubles as a ski resort during the winter it had a ski lift to take us up the mountain and that was very scenic.

After that we went Barley Creek restaurant to eat. Everything was going well until Jamie didn’t get his meal. In fact he didn’t get it till almost all of us were already done eating. I don’t even remember the name of the pasta, so I’m not even gonna bother rating it. It’s hard to judge something when there’s a distraction like that.

Thursday was a lazy day. Jordan and I sat around playing Portal. We took a break and went with the other kids to go Putt Putting. During this time my mom saw a bear! Other than that it was a pretty tame day, we had chicken and stuff for dinner.

Friday was leaving day, we packed up into the van and stopped at Muggs for breakfast. I had a Full Stack (3 pancakes (blueberry)) with two scrambled eggs and orange juice. And after what seemed like a short trip we ended up in New York City. Our hotel is the Hilton which, I have to say, is the nicest hotel I have ever been to. (Except that the Internet COSTS MONEY! WHAT IS THIS? A DISTOPIAN WORLD?) Its shower gets a rating of 10/10. It’s amazing. We walked down to Times Square and ate at Ruby Tuesdays. I had the Broccoli Chicken Pasta.

Pasta Rating
Pasta Name: Broccoli Chicken Pasta.
Taste: Amazing! Excellent! Great!
Size: Same as above!
Overall: 10/10

We then went back to our rooms before going to Broadway. The girls watched Legally Blonde (the musical) and the men went to SPAMalot which was hilarious.

After that we went back to our hotel and I played some Half-Life 2 Episode 2 and Jord played Civ III before goin’ to bed for the night.

On Saturday we went down and ate breakfast at Lindy’s, famous for its cheesecake. I had the Lindy’s Famous Big Breakfast (2 pancakes, eggs, bacon, orange juice), which is apparently a Broadway tradition.

We then hopped onto a tour bus and went around downtown. We got off at SoHo and walked around for a bit, making our way to the WTC site, then to the Battery Park to see the Statue of Liberty. After that we headed back to a bus and passed the U.N. and other stuff before getting off at Central Park and walking back to our hotel.

After that we ordered pizza and went to a MLS Soccer game (LA Galaxy vs. New York Red Bulls) it was a great game and ended in a tie 2-2.

David Beckham post game

After that we went back to the hotel before going to T.G.I. Fridays. I had the Brashetta Chicken Pasta, which I had before when I went to see Lewis Black in Detroit.

Pasta Rating
Pasta Name: Brashetta Chicken Pasta
Taste: Great!
Size: Good size
Overall: 8.5/10

After that we went back to the hotel for some sleep.

On our final day we had to put all our stuff in the car before going out for breakfast. We went to Bagel Stix where I had a two pancakes with eggs.

We then got on a tour bus for the uptown tour. The bus was going really slow because of a triathlon that was going on that day but it didn’t matter because we had the best tour guide ever.

We eventually got off at Central Park and had a nice walk through it, stopping for ice cream (I had a Strawberry Shortcake bar).

We went back to the hotel to check out before taking a stop at NBC Studios shop. I got a T-shirt and then we went to a GameStop underneath where I got Rainbow 6 Vegas 2.

Now I think they screwed me over because I think the price was $34.00 but when they asked to pay it was $50.00 (I had an Edge card), I figured with taxes and such that’s what it would be. Today I looked on the case and saw they had covered up the $34 sticker with a $54 sticker! I am 99.9% they did this because I had barely enough money to cover the $54 on me, but well more than enough for the $34. ASS!

Then me and my dad had lunch at a Sbarro (Pizza and a Sbarro Pink Lemonade) while the others had lunch at Subway.

We then left and went to our car and worked our way out of the city. After what seemed like forever we stopped for dinner, a hamburger, before finishing our journey and going home.

Trip 08 Part 1 (UPDATED) SUPER VIDEO EDITION!

Well it's already Day 3 of our journey,

Here's our journal of stuff we've done,
Day 1:
I woke up, I don't know how but I did. We then got some Timmies, I had a Med. Ice Capp, Cream Cheese Bageland an Blueberry Fritter We finally got packed up and left, we got to Hamilton and stop at Costco.

We reach the border and get through okay.We stop for lunch and washrooms at a rest area. I get Fuddrucker's Manager's Special (Hamburger, Fries and a Strawberry Milkshake)
Yum!
We stop for gas, I grab a Dunkin' Donuts jelly donut.
Yum!

We continue into Pennslyvania, passing Scranton. We finally reach Tanglewood Resort. Checked out the rooms, very nice! After figuring out who's sleeping where, I set up my stuff. Xbox set up in 7 minutes flat.
While Sarah & Jamie & my parents go for groceries me & Jen try to get the Xbox working. I call the front office and find out that we need a converter. Me and Jen set out for adventure. We pick up Spencer and he comes along. We get the converter and I go back to our room. The Xbox works! GREAT SUCCESS!

We head out to the boat house to eat. After a bit of a wait (it's 11 people!)
We got some apps (mozz sticks & nachos) and I had some Lemonade to drink. For an entree I got the Linguini Margerheta which consisted of linguini, and cherry tomatoes.

Pasta Rating
Linguini Margerheta
Taste: It was good but wasn't great
Size: Huge
Overall: 8.0/10 Not as much taste as I would have liked. Plus eating linguini is hard enought, eating with tomatoes, even harder.

I had some carrot cake for dessert. After that we went back to my room and played some Scene It: Lights Camera Action (me and Tyson won) after which I introduced Jordan to the joy that is Grand Theft Auto IV. At about 2 A.M. I go to sleep.

Day 2
I wake up at EIGHT THIRTY! I grab some cereal then we go swimming. After that we go play some volleyball and then some tennis. We go back to my aunt and uncles room for some sandwiches. After that we play some Halo 3 and then go on a walk by the lake. We stopped for ice cream (I had Orange Blossom)

We come back and play some Halo 3 again before supper at Erhardts I had a Lobster Ravioli
Pasta Rating
Lobster Ravioli
Taste: F***ing amazing!
Size: Only 5 ravioli pieces, although large, wasn't enough even with some bread and asparagus. Rating: 9.0/10 One of the best pastas I have ever had in my life. Simply awesome.
I had some lemonade to drink as well. After that we went back to 125 (Aunt & Uncles room) for some cake (it's my mums b-day).It was a cool 4 in one cake that had carrot, red velvet, german chocolate and truffle. I had truffle.
Back to my room where we play some Scene It (I won both times)
Then to sleep.
Day 3.5
I wake up at about 10 (which is what I wanted) after a nice breakfast (pancakes, sausage, eggs and bacon) we went to my room. After that we went to the Bushkill Falls for some hiking. We went on the red trail. Which is 2 1/2 hours long. It was very scenic and tiring. We had some ice cream (I had Rainbow Sherbert).

We went back to my room. Right now Jordy and Jen are playing some H3 co-op and I'm typing this up. Now I have to go. I believe I have some of my sister's pasta with my name on it. Tomorrow we're going to Hershey!

Day 3 (cont.)
After I had my sister's pasta, we went to 125s for some Spaghetti and then played Family Feud and Cranium. We then went back to our room for some shut eye.
Day 4
We woke early for our 2 hour drive to Hershey. We got loaded in and set out. On the way we got gas and I got a Nestea. The rest of the journey was uneventful. We got to Hershey and we could see rollercoasters. YES!

We went in and it was a magical world. Everything smells good. I'm pretty sure I went on every ride possible, heres a list:
Storm Runner
Fahrenheit

The singing you hear in the background is actually park entertainment:
It was okay, and it got your mind off the heat.

Comet (Wood)
Wildcat (Wood)
Sidewinder (The Bat from Canada's wonderland)
Lightening Racer (Wood)
Great Bear
I'm not sure of the Slooperdooper though

I also went on the Claw, Pirate and Kissing Tower
We stopped at Subway for lunch, I had 2 6" subs with a Pink Lemonade

We then went to the Hershey Museum and saw the Apstoleic clock which was cool. Then it was off to Chocolate World. (My girlfriend would have died to be here) It has a gigantic shop with every kind of chocolate available. We then went on a tour of how chocolate is made (which reminded me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Then we went on a trolley tour of Hershey which was entertaining. After that we headed out to eat.

We ate at Villa Rosa's, an Italian resturant where I had Rosa's Darmagio a lasagna.

Pasta Rating
Rosa's Darmagio
Taste: Great
Size: Perfect
Rating: 9.0/10 A well made Italian dish.

I also had 3/4ths of Jens dish and we had Cannoli which was amazing!I had (unsweetened) Ice Tea and then Lemonade. We went home and then we slept at our rooms.

Today we rented a boat. I tried skiing but failed horribly and then did tubing, and well watch for yourself. (Note I knew going in that I would either go as long as I could or die trying)

Earth (Day or Hour?) and Betasized

First let me talk about the "Earth Hour". It's stupid. It is almost as stupid as the Live Earth crap. What a freaking waste. I'll be honest here's what I was doing for Earth "Hour".
  1. Playing my Xbox 360
  2. On my television
  3. with my computer running
  4. with lights on.

I know what this is. It is the same idea as that stupid turn off the television for a week thing. All this is, is the media using the bandwagon it created for this "Earth is dying crisis". And it's laziness! Earth already has it's own day why not turn off the lights for a day? Hell we're half way there since a day is half natural light anyway. And Earth Day on it's own is annoying, look at this ugly ass flag! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Earth_flag_PD.jpg That in my opinion is the worst image of the Earth there is. We are left staring at Africa's ass and Antarctica. Lame.

In other news I got into the Battlefield: Bad Company beta. And although it's pretty good it has its share of problems. This weekend I never got around to doing much of anything. On Sat. I went to eat at KFC and stopped at Blockbuster and got some good deals. On Sunday I turned on the tv to watch NASCAR and here's what happened (within 5 seconds):

  • I noticed the race had already started
  • I noticed a wreck was being showed
  • I noticed Bobby Labonte was the main car of that said wreck
  • ASS!

Other than that I did nothing productive by any means. Some time this week I'm going to go to the Housing place on campus, probably after I figure out where that is.

P.S. I had another McRib and apple pie on Sat too.

Movie Review: There Will Be Blood

Wow, I watched this movie a week ago. All I can say is that it was very intense. Daniel Day Lewis (I believe that's his name, he won Best Actor) is amazingly insane in this role. The kid in the movie is pretty cool. The story like I said was intense. The movie really draws you in. It was likely very multi-layered so I may watch it again just to see what I missed. Holy crap was it good though.

Acting: 10/10
Story: 10/10
Atmosphere: 10/10
Overall: 9.5/10
Rated R (ONT) R (USA) Recommended but remember it's pretty crazy!

Double Movie Review: Superbad (below) & Fargo

Fargo

Fargo was a fasinating movie. Directed by the Coen bros. (No Country for Old Men). I thought it definantly had some suspense. But the great thing about this movie is that it doesn't need it really. The movie is just telling us a story and tell it does. The Coens are masters of their art. William H. Macy, Frances McDormand are amazing, while Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare are creepy as ever as kidnappers. The movie was awesome. I can't wait for the Big Lebowski (This weekend I hope)

Acting: 10/10
Story: 10/10
Atmosphere: 10/10
Overall: 10/10
Rated R (ONT) R (USA) Dazzlingly Great Movie.

P.S. I found myself saying that with their accents I would think EVERYONE in that area is a liar. I don't know why but every time they talked with an accent it sounded like they were lying.

Operation McRib

Well all I can say is thank God it's over. It was a long day. My objective: McRib. My course of attack: I left for the bus at 4:50 P.M. which arrived promptly at 5:03 P.M. The 1st Avenue bus would take me to the terminal so I could get onto the Woodlawn St. bus (I could've waited for the Woodlawn bus at the school but I was cold and lazy). So I take Woodlawn to Wal-Mart. And of course, the Wal-Mart McDonalds doesn't have McRibs! And of course, you could only find this out on a McRibs sign at a place that had McRibs. So I'd have to wait 20 minutes for the bus to come back. Okay then I'll grab Jenni some Easter crap while I wait (which I needed to do anyway). All the stuff was 50% off! So I bought the stuff then walked out to the bus stop, realized I had another 10 minutes, went back in, bought more stuff, and then got on the Woodlawn bus.

I quickly devised a plan that made my do as little work as possible. I would get off at the mall, walk down the street to the McDonalds (newly built) buy the product and boot it to the Niagara St. bus across the street. Ride that bus to the mall and get on the Woodlawn St. bus when it arrived a minute later. And then ride that bus back to the school and walk to my residence. And surprisingly it all worked like clock work. (Except when I got back to my Residence my key card didn't work on my door requiring me to go to the front desk, thanks for pissing on my victory) (Note: my diagram above. Too small? I don't give a rats ass. Paint sucks) After that it was just me finally enjoying the fruits of my labour:
McRib (Plain) Price: $3.69
My God was it ever worth it! The best bbq sauce I'd ever tasted. The bun was perfect, it sort of looks like a small submarine. But dam was it good.
McRib (w. toppings) w. Meal Price: $5.99
I was sort of skeptical about this. Why did they even bother putting anything on something that's already perfect? Eating this really made me open my mind. It was like wow, pickles and onions are amazing. Both in texture and taste.
Ratings:
McRib (Plain): 10/10
McRib (Toppings): 10/10
I highly reccomend that you try both. They really skimp you on the sauce if you have toppings. Really this sandwich is legendary and now I know why.
On a side note try out the McRib light show game. It's pretty fun. http://www.mcrib.com/

Well yesterday was the 20/20,000 Spectacular Extravaganza Fiesta! The 20 is representing the 2nd decade that I've been alive for aka my 20th birthday. The 20,000 stands for the fact that I passed the 20,000 Gamerscore point this weekend. Here is my present round-up:
  1. Lotto Scratch Tickets which total $10 with a Keno coupon.
  2. Lost: Via Domis for the 360

Watched t.v. with the fam., Started playing the Lost game. Played Scene It: LCA with the family. Watched NASCAR (Bobby got 12th) And that's about it. Good ole laid back weekend. Looking Ahead to 2008

After Christmas it dawned on me, what's coming out in 2008? Off the top of your head you can name, maybe two, plus GTAIV. Well trust me, I've looked into it and there is bright pastures ahead my friend excluding January here's 2008's festivities:
Brother's In Arms: Hell's Highway (Did you watch the E3 video of this game? No. Do it!)
Grand Theft Auto IV (Like I said everyone knows this game)
Halo Wars (Looks Sweet)
Tiberium (I'm a sucker for C&C games)
Splinter Cell: ConViction (Always been a fan of Splinter Cell)
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 (Vegas was sweet)
Battlefield: Bad Company (Blowing up buildings? HELL YES!)
Alan Wake (Haven't seen much of this game but of what I have it looks awesome)
Banjo-Kazooie 3 (Hey S.M.G. got all those damn awards & Rare's looking to make a comeback)
The Bourne Conspiracy (Read an article in OXM, sounds good)
Civilization Revolution (There is going to have to be a delicate balance between control, video, and strategy for this game to work)
Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath (Like I said sucker for C&C)
Condemned 2: Bloodshot (Condemned was pretty cool, this looks nuts!)
Dead Space (Zombies in space? Heck yes!)
Dead Island (Being a guy on an island full with zombies while looking for your wife! Why haven't I heard more about this game?!)
Deus Ex 3 (I hear only good things about the Deus Ex series)
Fable 2 (I've told my gf "this game is the only way I'm getting a dog!)
Fallout 3 (Elder Scrolls in a nuclear wasteland!? SIGN ME UP!)
Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Ghostbusters: The VIDEO GAME! NEED I SAY MORE?)
Left 4 Dead (More zombies and with 4 player co-op! There is a god.)
Lego Batman (Can this do for Batman games what it did for Star Wars games?)
Lost: The Video Game (I love the show and this could play out pretty cool)
Mafia II (1st one looked sweet)
Ninja Gaiden II (Heads are goin' a flyin')
Rainy Woods (Why have I not heard of this game either? Free Roaming! Town! Murder Mystery!)
Saboteur (Maybe this years Bioshock (artistically at least!) Black and white gameplay sounds kickass)
The rest should need no explanation:
Saints Row 2
Soulcalibur IV
Silent Hill V
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Star Wars Battlefront III
Tom Clancy's EndWar
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty (HOLY CRAP! FEB25 GET HERE NOW!)
Unreal Tournament 3

My pick for Suprise Hit of 2008!
Theseis
What is that? Your saying, well go look at it's wikipedia article and tell me that doesn't sound like it shoud be a movie!
