Disappointment and Looking Ahead... Fantasy this Week

Well if you couldn't tell before I am extremely disappointed about how the college football season ended. The Stingers did really well 137-136, but it was a tough pill to swallow. Especially since I didn't play Royster on the recommendation of CBS.com, which is something I like to think I wouldn't have done had I know it was the Playoff game. If I had played Royster I would have won by 5 points.

Alas the Niagara Maulers didn't fair so well, being demolished by 60 points, but let's face it, when your quarterback gets 54 points in the playoff game your one lucky son of a bitch. But the Goldy's Bully's luck ran out when they lost to there will be bud for the championship.

Next the Hamilton Maulers this week had a huge upset win with Buffalo's Lynch and Lindell coming up with a combined 30ish points on Monday (I was down by 10 on Sunday). The Hamilton Maulers are second in the West Division, actually were tied for first.


Finally the Maulers did lose but in many ways that's a good thing. I'd rather get consistent players on the team and shitty players off now. I'm glad Romo's back, he better play this Sunday. My replacement QB didn't do well this week and my WRs sucked but I traded them off.

After the NFL seasons over I'll probably stop fantasy sports till golf and NASCAR come back. Simply because NHL and NBA are a pain in the ass to play.

P.S. By the way the bottle I was referring to in that previous post was an Ice Tea plastic bottle which I could not open with my hands. I had to use scissors that luckily have steel fucking grips to get the bastard open! Seriously if that's the way we're going lets just go back to glass bottles with metal caps and use bottle openers.

Football Weekend Preview!

1. Stingers vs Blountville Vols
Projected- Stingers by 5
This is going to be a huge game. Vols have a 6 game winning streak and 7 wins overall. I have 10 wins/winning streak. Someones going to lose big. The Vols are 3rd in our division (I'm 1st of course) and are 3rd overall in power rankings. This is a key game. We can both beat the other little shits but who can win against eachother?

2. Niagara Maulers vs Goldy's Bully's
Projected- Bully's by 19
Hoping for the upset here. His team is a powerhouse with every member of his team ranking over me except his defence. Luckily most are only by a couple points. So anything can happen.

3. Hamilton Maulers vs Circle da Wagons
Projected- Maulers by 37
Good, I rank over him with everything except TEs and Kickers and who cares about them. And a win would help in standings too, currently there's a close race, 4-way 6 wins-3 loss record.

4. Maulers vs Huevous Rancheros
Projected- Huevous by 16
Again another close game, why must one team suck and one team be awesome in each league? Hopefully I'll make the upset and gain a win, we've got a 4-5 record.

Niagara Maulers vs Gold's Bully's- Projected: Gold's Bully's by 22
Actual: Niagara Maulers 115 to 135 Gold's Bully's

Analysis: Sheets, Daniel and South California D almost got 100pts on their own, everyone else did mediocre to badly.
Trades: Dropped Nicks, Wolfe, Morrah, Johnson for Scheidler, Williams, Banks, and Benn (TEs and WRs)

Stingers vs Penn State Raiders- Projected: Stingers by 29

Actual: Stingers 185 to 67 Penn State Raiders
Analysis: Everyone did amazingly. I steamrolled through my 10 game winning streak!
Trades: Got rid of my extra QB (Mark Sanchez) for a new TE (Branden Ledbetter)

NFL Football Week 9

Hamilton Maulers vs GoosFrabba- Projected: GoosFrabba by 11

Actual: Hamilton Maulers 72 to 67 Jumpin
Analysis: Well we pulled it off, but barely. Overall the Giants D won this for us.
Trades: I got rid of the Vikings Defence finally for the Dolphins. Had to trade Pittman 'cause he's gone for the rest of the season.

Maulers vs Cables Crew- Projected: Cables Crew by 35 (Again I don't know why the site is screwing this up)

Actual: Maulers 69 to 84 Cables Crew
Analysis: Byrant, Johnson and the Titans D all did well but everyone else did mediocre
Trades: Kyle Orton for David Garrard (QBs) and Dunn for Stewart (RB)

NHL Period 4
Stingers- The NHL is much harder than Football and I'm not enjoying it. We're currently back to 8th

Actual: Stingers 118 to 83 SG
Analysis: Wow the guys at CBS were right for once
Trades: Nothing except change my TE for my reserved TE

NFL Football Week 7
God help me.
Hamilton Maulers: Brees played like shit. Right now its 96-83 for the WMDs, so it basically comes down to Denver (Pittman-WR)(Me) vs. New England (Welker-WR)(WMD) tonight. Pray for me.

Maulers: FUCK I'M AN IDIOT! DAMN YOU DALLAS COWBOYS FOR NOT PLAYING ROMO!
Yeah Romo didn't play so I got 0 points for him, and had I'd played my Reserved QB I'd be sitting pretty right now but instead it's 78-72 for Tedca123 (my reserve QB got 21 pts!) Hell even if I played my Titans D instead of Vikings I'd be in a good position.
So again I'm in the same position as before, Denver (Matt Prater - K)(Me) vs. New England (Welker-WR)(Tedca123). GO BRONCOS!

My team is overcoming it's debacle last week and we are now mid-range: 7th in standings
Analysis: Still working out how the league works, how the stats work etc.

Maulers vs BackbayBashers: Projected- Maulers by 16
Actual: Maulers 65 to 77 BBB

Analysis: My team completely collapsed. QB (Romo) did amazing as usual and my Titans defence did good as well. But other than those two my highest scoring player was my kicker (Prater). You know there's a problem when.

Hamilton Maulers vs Warriors: Projected- Maulers by 31

Actual: Hamilton Maulers 73 to 78 Warriors

Analysis: My players were pretty good. Just not good enough. Lynch (RB) really let me down this week with only 6 pts and Brees (QB) did too with 13 pts to the Warriors QBs 26pts.

Trades: I have alot of players on BYE so I'm going to have to do some trades to keep going.

College Football Week 6
Niagara Maulers vs There Will Be Bud- Projected: Maulers by 1

Actual: Niagara Maulers 123 to 113 There Will Be Bud

Analysis: Although two of my team (Blount-RB Norwood-WR) got 0 pts, Daniel-QB (28pts), Royster-RB (25pts) and Robinson-WR (27pts) more than made up for it. My South Carolina Df and Decker-WR both did well too.

Trades: Norwood is dead weight (Three weeks in a row he's gotten 1 or 0). But Blount is surprising, he's gotten in the 20s for a couple weeks now and to have him get 0 is scary. I hope he's not injured.

Stingers vs Monstars- Projected: Stingers by 6
Actual: Stingers 134 to 48.5 Monstars
Analysis: Wow we wooped assage here. Everyone did good except Greg Orton-WR (4pts) and again Norwood.
Trades: Getting rid of Norwood, lots of guys on BYE this week.

NASCAR
Tony Stewart = I CALLED IT! TONY WON THE RACE BABY! FIRST WIN OF THE YEAR FOR HIM! I AM MAGIC
Elliot Sadler = 10th and led for laps
Juan Montoya = Was doing good till taken out in the Big One, led a couple, finished 25th
Mike Waltrip= Did good but got into the Big One too, led 1 lap and finished 19th

Huge Post (Football, Politics, Whatever Else)

First I'll start with politics. I hate them. First there was the fact that the Vice-Presidential debate was on and therefore The Office and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares weren't. Who the hell cares about vice-presidents?

Second I can't even watch the Prime Minister debates. Why? Because it's bullshit. It's basically you have to pick the lesser of two evils:

• Conservative- Great choice if you don't want any art in our society. Also if that recent "plagerism scandal" proved anything it was that we have the same Conservatives that the Americans have. Seriously he didn't copy the speech from the Austrailian guy. They were both given the speeches. The question you need to ask yourself is WHO gave them the speeches?


• Liberals- Great choice if you want a Carbon Tax. Such bullshit. There's a new buzz word that I can't stand and it's "Carbon Footprint". The carbon tax is basically a tax on everything. And don't believe that bullshit that gasoline won't be taxed. Have you even thought how a tax like this would work? You think you can just send a list of shit you have in? No they are going to come to your house and look through your shit. They are going to see how much you travel in your car and everything. And the whole enviromental crisis is bullshit too.


• Green Party- They are more insane than the liberals. I don't even want to imagine what would happen if they somehow got in.


• NDP- god they are really the only choice but they pretty much support the war now too. And there is almost no chance of getting them in anyway.


• CAP- this is who I'd vote for, but I doubt our area even has one. So I guess I'm going to vote for Gary McHale.

Hamilton Maulers vs PSU: Projected- Maulers by 64

Actual: Maulers 71 to 51 PSU

Analysis: My QB (Brees) did great. RB's did well, my WR really let me down except Steve Smith, who I had kept for 2 weeks while he was suspended. My kicker did poorly to, but he's injured now. My TE did came up empty and my Minneapolis D did horridly. Thank god the other team had most of his players on BYE week.

Trades: I traded Ike Hillard (RB) for Josh Reed (RB) which could really bite me in the ass. I traded Brown (K) for Lindell (K) since Brown did terrible, is injured and on BYE week. I traded Baker (TE) for Gage (WR) because I have another TE who's off BYE now and Gage is injured but is one of the best WRs right now, and could even play this week.

Maulers vs Roachclips420: Projected- Maulers by 45

Actual: Maulers 92 to 30 Roadclips420

Analysis: My players were pretty good. My TE did badly and Stuckey (WR) did badly too. My kicker is the same for both my teams and he did bad too.

Trades: I traded Brown(K) for Prater of the Denver Broncos which should be fine. I traded Brandon Lloyd for Eddie Royal because Lloyds injured. This is funny because I had trade Eddie for Lloyd last week.

College Football
Niagara Maulers vs NDFightingIrish10- Projected: Maulers by 3

Actual: Niagara Maulers 92 to 123 NDFFightingIrish10

Analysis: Basically my whole team was good by not good enough. My QB had 15 points but that's 15 points less than NDF's QB. My RB's were awesome, WRs meh to bad (My best 16 his best 35) K TE and Defence were all meh

Trades: None, just put some of my Actives off because of BYE and reserves on.

Stingers vs The Okalahoma City- Projected: Stingers by 2

Actual: Stingers 100 to 62.25 TOC

Analysis: My QB RB and Defence did awesome. Everyone else did ok to bad.

Trades: None.

Golf

Golf is over now, I believe I am much better than before.

NASCAR

I did good for Nascar as well.

College Football Week 4

Here's what CBS Sports projected:
Stingers vs. Bloutville Vols: I'd win by 49 points
Niagara Maulers vs. Sunnytime Day Care Academy: I'd win by 11 points

And the winner is:Stinger 106-63 Bloutville Vols!!

It went great considering my much of my team was on their bye week.

Week 3 in College Football

Well right now I'm waiting for the scores to update but here's the games I watched on television:
University of South California vs. Ohio State- Ohio got wooped by my beautiful defence 35-3.
Perdue vs. Oregon- Perdue lost in double overtime but Wide Receiver Greg Orton made good plays.
Penn State vs. Syracuse- My Penn State defence wooped ass 55-13.

So far the only updates are from Friday, where my Maulers quarterback lost the game but still got us 37 points.

Stingers vs. Warriors: I'd lose by 7 points
Niagara Maulers vs. Jeremy24: I'd lose by 10 points
Well hopefully my defence teams alone should dispel those ideas.

Week 1 in my Fantasy leagues Pt2 Pt1

College Football

My Niagara Maulers had a nice victory following our first lost to Gold's Bully's in our first game (114.75-100.5), today we won by a nice margin (102.5-75.5) against WVU Football. However that's still one of the worst scores in the league so maybe I'm just lucky. I'm gonna have to make some drastic changes if I want to stay competitive. 3 of my active players got 0 points, which isn't good.

My Stingers football team continues it's domination, our first game against Penn State Raiders we won 123.75-99.75. This time against P.O.D. we won 153.5-106 note to self don't change anything.
