Week 1 in my Fantasy leagues Pt2 Pt1

College Football

My Niagara Maulers had a nice victory following our first lost to Gold's Bully's in our first game (114.75-100.5), today we won by a nice margin (102.5-75.5) against WVU Football. However that's still one of the worst scores in the league so maybe I'm just lucky. I'm gonna have to make some drastic changes if I want to stay competitive. 3 of my active players got 0 points, which isn't good.

My Stingers football team continues it's domination, our first game against Penn State Raiders we won 123.75-99.75. This time against P.O.D. we won 153.5-106 note to self don't change anything.

NHL Draft at 7oclock tonight maybe I'll do a live update of it

Week 1 in my Fantasy leagues

It's been a pretty disappointing night for my football leagues. My Yahoo league was a disaster with my QB now needing surgery (you may have heard about this). But my CBSSPORTS leagues have been really sad. OH MY GOD! Curry just got a touch down with less then 2 minutes to go! I'm one point away from a tie!
1:31 left
NO! THE BRONCOS ARE RUNNING DOWN THE CLOCK! DAM THEM TO HELL!
NO! (35 secs left)
NO!
FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK!

Okay, so its extremely disappointing for my Hamilton Maulers team which lost 76-75, thanks to Oakland not telling anyone the J. Walker wouldn't be playing. Second the Vikings defence played like ass. Everyone else play ok, by the Raiders still sucked balls losing 41-14.

Unfortunately the Vikings defence also killed my Caledonia Maulers team, which lost 94-83, the Vikings only got 2 points for me, while the Titans defence, which I had on reserve, would have gotten 25 points! The rest of the team played well. So I hate the Vikings right now.

Well that was disappointing. Hopefully after I change up my QB for Yahoo, and the defence for my Maulers teams I should do better. (Jenni's team actually did worse then me, 80-53)

Tomorrow night I draft my NHL team so I'll tell u about that then, along with the past two weeks in my college teams.

Book Review: Me Of Little Faith

I'm going to do a quick little book review for Lewis Black's Me Of Little Faith. Overall I thought it had a whole bunch of laughs. The book had alot more new material from Lewis than Nothing Sacred. Lewis goes through not only his views on Christianity, Televangelists, Judaism and some Islam. But he also goes through the religous experiences that have made him who he is which is alot like Nothing Sacred. It was very entertaining and a great read.

P.S. I was going to include a snippet of my favourite part but the book is at home. (I'm in Welland now, more on that later)

Movie Review: Tropic Thunder

Tropic Thunder is an extremely funny movie. Especially if you enjoy war or action movies. I enjoy both so I laughed almost non-stop. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll stop here. Just go see it

Acting: 10/10
Story: 9/10
Atmosphere: 9/10
Overall: 9.5/10

Rated 14-A (ONT) R (USA) Great humour Stiller Downey and Black are great, funniest movie of the year and probably last year too.

P.S. The controversy about mentally disabled people is stupid. They need to learn what comedy is.

Stinger503's Report of Toolbaggery 8/8/8

This one makes me crazy.
Heres how the headline should go:

Cops slay drug dealing dogs

http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/local/bal-mayor0807,0,4563211.story

Un-Fucking-Believeable

They kill their fucking dogs, and by no means am I a dog person. But god damn! What the hell were they thinking? Christ they might as well have left the package on the damned street and wait for someone to pick it up. And why the hell would they shoot the fucking dogs? What did they say to themselves? "Oh there's the culprits!"

Where the fuck is PETA when you need them???
Oh right their pissing me off in Canada too. (But then again PETA pisses me off all the time)

Oh I think I know where they get their policies: Letters from Iwo Jima you know where they kill the dog with the family right there. And that's Imperial Fucking Japan not modern day America.

And they didn't apologize!! WHAT THE HELL!?
Mark Spencer (P.G. County Police Department's Inspector General) is the biggest tool of all. He says that since the drug dealers use the innocents to screen their activities, IT'S ALRIGHT TO INVADE THEIR (THE INNONCENTS) FUCKING HOUSES AND SHOOT THEIR FUCKING PETS!
UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!

Movie Reviews x3 #2

The Dark Knight

I only had one problem with the Dark Knight and that was that it was almost too dark. Like...jesus it's really the darkest movie I've ever seen. Every horror movie I've ever seen doesn't hold a candle to it (except maybe Saw III (I've never seen Saw I or II and don' t want to)) Damn the movie is dark. At least Batman Begins has some light comedy spread throughout. Another difference is the action, Begins has alot more I'd say. Batman fights probably less then 10 times and it's usually pretty short too.

However the movie is very good. The acting and atmosphere is well done. Heath Ledger is indeed as great as everyone says he is but that isn't to say Bale wasn't good. (I actually think Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent was the star of the show by far).

Acting: 10/10

Story: 10/10

Atmosphere: 10/10

Overall: 10/10

Rated 14-A(ONT) PG-13 (USA) Almost too dark but still astounding.

Ratatouille

Ratatouille is a fantastic movie that I regret I didn't see earlier. The plot revolves around a rat that wishes to become a chef. He befriends a janitor/inspiring chef who's related to the famous chef of the restuarant he's working at. Together they start cooking food and impress the higher ups. I thought that the voice acting was flawless and the animations were extremley well done. The characters were robust and colourful as well.

Acting: 10/10

Story: 9.5/10

Atmosphere: 9.5/10

Overall: 9.5/10

Rated G (ONT) G (USA) Great heart warming movie all the way around.

28 Weeks Later

All I can say after watching this movie:
FUCKING KIDS!

Ah... had to get that off my chest. Overall I don't think 28W was as stylized as 28D. The acting was okay but it fell short of 28D. It also felt much shorter than 28D and I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad thing. Overall there wasn't as much idea as the first movie in my opinion

Acting: 7.5/10

Story: 6/10

Atmosphere: 8/10

Overall: 7.5/10

Rated 18-A (ONT) R (USA) Great first half but fumbles with the ending a bit.
